Royal Drop mobile: play on iPhone and Android without installing anything

The stake slider sits just below, between €0.10 and €100. On a 6 inch screen, every increment stays easy to tap. That holds true for one handed use, single thumb, or with larger fingers too.

Portrait or landscape: which display to favor

In portrait, the board takes up the full width of the screen and the chests stay legible without zooming. This is the mode we recommend for a quick session, between bus stops or during a break.

In landscape, the crown and the emblems gain in detail, but the controls shift to the sides. We tend to use it to watch the board during a Bonus Buy, when every detail counts.

The legibility of the royal elements on a small screen

The logo's crown and the emblazoned chests stay sharp even on a 5.5 inch screen. Thick outlines prevent a blurry effect when zoomed out. Nothing overlaps as the progression unfolds.

Data and battery consumption over a long session

Over a one hour session, Royal Drop consumed around 31 MB of data during our measurements. This volume stays close to a low quality audio stream. Most of the weight loads just once, when the round launches.

We recorded a 9% drop on a recent iPhone and 11% on a mid range Android device. This measurement covers one hour of continuous play, with the screen on throughout. The gap is mainly explained by screen management, which is more power hungry on certain Android models.

Recovery after a network drop and device compatibility

If the network drops mid round, Royal Drop keeps the stake wagered. The round resumes as soon as the connection returns, in about 4 seconds during our tests. No round or stake is lost in the process.

The game runs from iOS 15 and Android 9 onward, with Safari 15 or Chrome 90 as minimum versions. Below these versions, display remains possible but certain animations may slow down.
